pages 69 - 80
ABSTRACT:

The author deals with current issues of contemporary Slovak labour law from the perspective of the requirements of Community law, the latest initiatives of the
European Union, the globalization of the world economy, and the effects of the global economic crisis. In particular, she addresses the treatment of atypical employment contracts, the prohibition of discrimination in employment relationships, the regulation of working time, and issues related to enterprise restructuring. In her analysis of these issues, she notes the current extent to which Slovak labour has been harmonized with Community law.
